Secondary Principal's Message
It is an honor and privilege to serve as your child’s Principal this year!
I am excited to have the opportunity to work with your child(ren) and ensure that all students receive the very best education possible. Through rigorous academic instruction, providing equitable access and opportunities to all students, we believe every child can succeed in all they do at school and beyond.
As principal, my door is always open and I welcome your input and feedback. I look forward to working with you as an active partner in each Wildcats’ educational journey while they are part of Waelder ISD!
A Little About Me:
My husband Brian and I have two girls, Allyson and Peyton. As a family we are heavily involved in local organizations, especially youth sports. Our girls keep us very busy with their extracurricular activities. When we get down time at home, we enjoy cooking and entertaining for our extended family, playing with our dogs, and tending our small garden. When we can get away, we love to spend time at the beach fishing.
I earned my Bachelors from Texas State University and my Masters from Lamar University. Since beginning my career as an educator 15 years ago, I have served as a classroom teacher, special education teacher, academic interventionist, instructional coach, and presenter for professional development.
