Welcome to WAELDER WILDCAT Country:

I want to welcome you to Waelder ISD and to our district website. Waelder ISD is located in Central Texas just off Interstate 10, and is a gateway to the Texas coast and just hours from the major cities of Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. Currently, WISD is classified as a Class 1A school district and meets all state and federal requirements for accreditation. Our Board of Trustees, WISD staff members, and the community share the commitment that all students will reach their educational potential and become productive citizens of the 21st century.

The district invites you to become an active educational partner, whether through volunteering your time, or supporting our students in their many endeavors. Thank you for your interest in visiting the Waelder Wildcat webpage and learning about our schools. WISD appreciates your support!
