Graduation Requirements

Attached is the current Side-by-Side Comparison for Graduation Plans.

All students who entered the 9th grade during the 2014-2015 school year or later will only have the choice of the Foundation High School Plan.  This plan includes:

English Language Arts Four credits: • English I • English II • English III • An advanced English course

Mathematics Three credits: • Algebra I • Geometry • An advanced math course

Science Three credits: • Biology • IPC or an advanced science course • An advanced science course

Social Studies Three credits • U.S. History • U.S. Government (one-half credit) • Economics (one-half credit) • World History or World Geography

Physical Education One credit

Languages Other Than English (LOTE) Two credits in the same language Two credits from Computer Science I, II, and III (other substitutions) 

Fine Arts One credit 

Speech Demonstrated proficiency in speech skills 

Electives Five credits 

Students will then add an endorsement to round out their courses.  (See Page 2 of Side by Side for more details on endorsements)
