Superintendent Message

On behalf of the School Board and the entire Waelder ISD Staff, it is with a great deal of pride that I welcome you to the Waelder Independent School District Wildcat web page.

Waelder Schools comprise a vibrant part of the community and takes its job of educating Waelder’s youth seriously. It is the goal of Waelder ISD to provide a climate of academic excellence for all students regardless of gender, academic, ethnic, or socioeconomic status, within an environment that promotes and models equality for all. Our school and community share a vision of empowering students to make wise choices and become productive citizens and helping to realize their dreams by seeing an unfathomed world of possibilities.

The 2014-2015 school year’s theme is “Uniting Cultures through Teamwork”. This powerful statement embodies the essential element to meeting each student’s individual needs, while providing the ground work to sustain the demanding requirements for a world class education.

The information included in this webpage is designed to help you with regard to our District’s procedures, policies, rules and regulations, programs, and other important items.
